Write about what I’m learning and what I’m still trying to figure out.

Have you ever noticed something interesting about driving? Everyone has their own destination, their own speed, and their own journey. Yet, when we drive, we sometimes become too busy looking at the cars beside us that we forget to focus on our own road.

Isn't that exactly how we live our lives?

Some people seem to be driving luxury cars, while others are still learning how to drive. Some are already on highways, while others are struggling through traffic. Some reach their destinations earlier, while others take longer routes.

But does that mean the person driving slowly is unsuccessful?

Absolutely not!

Life works in much the same way. We constantly compare ourselves with others. We look at someone's promotion, someone's business success, someone's achievements, or someone's lifestyle and suddenly feel that we are not doing enough.

We forget that we are looking at their journey from the outside without knowing the obstacles they had to overcome.

Think about driving again. When you encounter a red traffic light, do you immediately assume that your journey is over? Of course not. You wait until the light turns green and continue moving.

Sometimes, life puts us on hold too. We experience rejection, unexpected delays, financial difficulties, disappointments, and opportunities that never seem to arrive.

But a delay does not always mean denial.

Even when you are driving through unfamiliar roads, you trust the process, follow the directions, and keep moving towards your destination. You might take a wrong turn, miss an exit, or encounter a road closure. That does not mean you cannot reach where you want to go. You simply find another way.

The most important thing is to keep your hands on your steering wheel and your eyes on your own road.

Do not accelerate just because someone else is moving faster. Do not abandon your journey because someone has reached their destination before you.

And remember, sometimes slowing down is not a weakness. It is necessary to protect yourself and make better decisions.

You do not have to prove anything to the person driving beside you.

Your journey is yours. Your timing is yours. Your destination is yours.

So, keep driving. Even if the road is long, even if the journey feels meaningless today, trust that every kilometre is taking you somewhere.

One day, you will look back and realise that every traffic jam, wrong turn, and unexpected stop taught you something valuable.

Stop watching everyone else's lane. Focus on your own steering wheel. Your destination is waiting for you! ❀️
