KOTA KINABALU: The lion dance community is mourning the loss of talented performer Hambali Latip from Sandakan’s Leong Sin Association, who died after being in a coma for five months.

Hambali, a lion tail performer, fell during practice and had remained unconscious since the incident before passing away recently.

His death was announced on the Facebook page “Liondoncefreak”, which also paid tribute to his contribution to the team and the nation.
