List of organisations offering assistance to victims of Putra Heights gas pipeline fire

FOLLOWING the devastating gas pipeline fire in Putra Heights yesterday, more than 500 people have been affected and are placed at temporary evacuation centres (PPS) now.

Along with the victims, several pets have also been hurt in the incident.

Considering the plight of the victims and animals, several organisations have come forward to assist.

Below is the list of organisations and the assistance rendered with the relevant contact numbers: - April 2, 2025

FREE TREATMENT & AID FOR ANIMALS AFFECTED BY THE PUTRA HEIGHTS FIRE

Persatuan Haiwan Terbiar Malaysia (SAFM), in collaboration with four veterinary clinics, is providing:

1. FREE First Aid Treatment
2. FREE Dog & Cat Food

This emergency response follows the recent gas pipeline fire in Putra Heights, which has severely impacted not only residents but also countless pets and stray animals—many of whom are injured, displaced, or traumatised.

Pet owners in the affected areas may also reach out for medical attention or transport assistance for their pets. SAFM will coordinate support through our volunteer network.
