Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz was thrilled to win Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Chelsea.
Diaz dedicated the triumph to his parents after their hostage ordeal earlier in the season.
He said: "It was a very tough match and big matches are played this way.
"We have a year with lots of matches, prepare like that for every game, we knew it would be a challenge but we prepared really well."
On what it means, Diaz added: "I dedicate this title to my mum and dad for everything they have been through it means a lot to be able to celebrate with them."
