Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai admits he battled with the club's medicos ahead of the Carabao Cup final.
Szoboszlai was missing for the win against Chelsea due to a leg strain.
And he later told local Hungarian TV: "They (medical team) are careful with me.
"If it would be up to me I would play (today). I hate it. I hate not playing. I had a lot of disagreements with the doctors."
The Reds won 1-0 in extra-time thanks to captain Virgil van Dijk's winner.
