Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp explained the absences of Thiago Alcantara and Darwin Nunez for defeat at Nottingham Forest.
Nunez and Thiago did not make the Liverpool matchday squad for the loss.
Klopp said to the BT cameras today: "For Darwin, it's a game too early, [he] still feels intensity of the [West Ham] game muscle-wise so there was no chance, maybe tomorrow or Monday but not today.
"Thiago got a bad ear infection overnight so the decision was made a 5:15am, that's how it is sometimes - that's the reason for that."
