Liverpool have entered talks today for Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo.
Contact was made just after midnight this morning as the Reds seek a deadline day midfield addition to ease their injury concerns.
Arthur is fully fit, very keen to work with Jurgen Klopp and believes Liverpool's style is one that suits him best - better than that of coach Max Allegri at Juventus.
He also has been encouraged by the success of Thiago in the Premier League.
Arthur signed for Barcelona in 2018, joining on a six-year contract from Gremio but moved to Juventus as part of a swap for Miralem Pjanic two years later.
