Liverpool are willing to move for RB Leipzg midfielder Konrad Laimer this week.
The Austria international is inside the final year of his RBL deal and can be signed in the coming days for £25m.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting Liverpool are interested in Laimer after manager Jurgen Klopp announced plans of signing a midfielder to ease their injury problems.
Romano told Wettefreunde: “Konrad Laimer is one of the players Liverpool are exploring but he is not the only one, there are many options. My personal opinion is that Konrad Laimer would be perfect for Liverpool.
"They really need that kind of player with a lot of energy."
