Liverpool are pushing ahead with plans to sign French midfielder Khephren Thuram this summer.
The midfield area of Jurgen Klopp's team is one that requires significant work over the off-season.
Per L'Equipe, the Reds believe that Thuram has the quality to improve their squad immediately.
The 22-year-old has been outstanding for Nice, who are owned by Manchester United bidder Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Thuram is the son of French legend Lilian Thuram and the brother of Marcus Thuram, also a Liverpool target.
The Italian-born midfielder has been with Nice since 2019, when he made the move from Monaco.
