Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram has welcomed an approach from Liverpool.
The Reds have opened talks with Nice over a fee for the France international, who is excited by the Reds' interest.
L'Equipe says negotiations are underway between the two clubs, with Nice seeking to sell Thuram for 60m.
The son of World Cup winner Lilian Thuram, Khepren was named in this season's Ligue Une Team of the Season.
And he is excited by the prospect of playing for Reds manager Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
