Liverpool great Steven Gerrard has announced he's turned down Al-Ettifaq.
Gerrard confirmed he was made an offer by the Saudi Pro League club last week during a visit.
He said on Monday night: "A lot has been said in the media and a lot of it is not true.
"I was invited over there to look at a potential offer, which I did, and have been analysing that over the last couple of days. As we stand, right now, I won't be taking that offer up."
The former Aston Villa manager has been linked with Leeds and Southampton since their relegation.
