Liverpool are holding up a loan move for Sepp van den Berg.

The Daily Mail says Liverpool want to keep Van den Berg at Anfield until late in the window after rebuffing a number of loan enquiries.

Following injuries to Joel Matip and Ibrahima Konate, a decision won't be made on the former Preston North End loanee until later in the window in case the youngster is needed as back-up.

Blackburn, Burnley, Sheffield United and Watford have all been linked with the 20-year-old centre-back.
