Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones is set to serve a three-match suspension.
The all-action star was given a red for a studs up challenge against Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday.
While there was controversy surrounding a wrong VAR call that disallowed an onside Luis Diaz goal, the FA did not find the Jones red card to be an error.
Jones' studs showing and making contact above the ankle, per the Liverpool Echo, was the cause of the decision standing.
Liverpool will now be without Jones for games before and after the international break.
Diogo Jota also has a one match ban to serve, as he got a red for two yellow cards in the same game.
