Liverpool are pushing to sign Torino defender Perr Schuurs.
Tuttosport says Liverpool have already had an offer of 30m rejected by Toro.
But that won't put off the Reds, with a new proposal of 40m being prepared.
Schuurs moved to Toro last year from Ajax and impressed in his first Serie A season. Along with the Reds, Italian champions Napoli are also interested as they seek to replace Kim Min-jae.
Interestingly, it's reported Schuurs had a low key trial at Liverpool as a 17 year-old in 2020.
