The Mirror says Liverpool would have to stump up between £75-100million to sign 'long-standing' target Barella.
The Reds have monitored the Inter Milan midfielder for some time, sending scouts to watch him during five years at Cagliari between 2015 and 2020.
But despite Jurgen Klopp's growing injury list, the Liverpool manager has remained cautious in rushing a new signing or paying over the odds.
