Liverpool are scouting IFK Gothenburg midfielder Malick Yalcouye.
The 18 year-old joined IFK in January and Expressen says Liverpool scouts have been watching him.
"Hopefully his role with us will only get bigger and bigger," says coach Jens Askou.
"He is a player who has the potential to become a top player in the Allsvenskan and then go from there to a slightly higher level. He has great potential and learns new things quickly."
Yalcouye's contract with IFK Gothenburg extends to the 2028 season.
