- Liverpool star Harvey Elliott has completed a season-long loan move to La Liga side Valencia.
- Elliott also spent last season away from Liverpool when he was sent out on loan to Aston Villa.
- It proved to be a nightmare season for the attacking midfielder as he was limited to just nine appearances after Villa opted against triggering a clause that would have obliged them to buy Elliott for £35 million if he played 10 or more matches.
- Elliott returned to Liverpool at the start of the summer but has been unable to force his way into Andoni Iraola’s plans.
- The 23-year-old will now spend a season in Spain as he looks to get his career back on track after a difficult 12 months.
