Liverpool striker Layton Stewart is set to move to Preston North End.
Stewart has accepted a contract offer from Preston, says the Liverpool Echo, and talks over a fee are now underway.
However, an initial loan arrangement is also on the table.
Stewart fought back from knee injury last season to feature with the U21 team. He made his debut the previous campaign in the League Cup tie against Derby County at Anfield.
Preston signed Reds fullback Calvin Ramsay on-loan earlier this summer.
