
James Norris feels honoured to have joined Liverpool on their preseason tour of Asia.
The 19-year-old Scouseris part of the Reds' travelling squad that will play Manchester United in Bangkok on Tuesday.
Speaking from the team hotel, he told the club's website: "My family are so proud. When I was a little boy, it was something they dreamt of and something I dreamt of myself. So to be here is a great feeling.
"As soon as we landed, the support we got was unbelievable. Especially at the hotel, it seems like there's thousands of people waiting for us all the time. It's unbelievable."
On his aims during the tour, Norris continued: "Just [get] everything out of it really, show the boss what I can do and learn what I can. We've got great role models to look up to. That's what I'm here for, just to keep learning.
"You come here to impress – that's what you come here to do and hope the boss enjoys what you do and gives you a chance when you get back home."
