Liverpool are set to bring back Nat Phillips from his loan with Celtic.
The defender has struggled for minutes this season at Parkhead.
Phillips has only made six league appearances for a total of 314 minutes. Even fewer minutes were collected in the Champions League, only 90 in two games.
After his start against Kilmarnock (2-1 defeat), the English centre-back was no longer called up for the last three matches.
The Liverpool Echo says Phillips will be recalled by Liverpool and sent away for a new loan next month.
