Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson will not be involved in their upcoming preseason friendly.
The Reds are set to play a warm up game in Karlsruhe on Tuesday to continue their Premier League preparations.
However, Henderson's future is up in the air, with interest from Al Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia.
Per the Liverpool Echo, the captain has not made a decision about his future, which means he will not play.
Henderson was initially ready to make the move, but Liverpool struggling to agree a fee for his services may cause him to do a u-turn and stay.
If Henderson does leave, the Reds are set to bid for the likes of Romeo Lavia from Southampton.
