Former Arsenal star Freddie Ljungberg has slammed Manchester City midfielder Rodri after yesterday's win at Manchester United.

The Swede accused Rodri of diving to win the penalty that opened the scoring in City's 3-0 win. Ljungberg is adamant Rodri went down too easily under pressure from United striker Rasmus Hojlund.

He said on Viaplay: I don't like this guy. He may touch him with his hand, but Rodri weighs between 90 and 95 kilos.

"He throws himself, you can tell he throws himself."

Following the play, Ljungberg did not miss the opportunity to also criticise LaLiga.

This will work like this in Spanish football. I don't want Spanish football in the Premier League. I'm a little upset. Then I hear that it is Michael Oliver who is in the VAR room, so it does not surprise me that they finally called a penalty."
