Loke calls for calm and patience

In a statement posted on Loke’s Facebook page, he pointed that despite the ongoing process being something new for the country, it is a regular process that needs to be carried out in a Westminster-style Partisan Democracy system when in a situation where no single party or coalition has the majority of seats in the Dewan Rakyat.

He added that DAP will always uphold the principles of the Rukun Negara and defend the Constitution.

Loke also expressed the party’s hope for citizens as well as fellow party members to always maintain public harmony and order at all times.

“Peace and tranquility among our society must be preserved in celebrating the increasingly fertile democratic process in our country,” he said.
