SIPITANG: Kinabalu United Progressive Organisation (Upko) Vice-President Datuk Ewon Benedick said the party will continue to fight for the aspirations of the Lundayeh community to form a State majority constituency.
According to him, Upko has consistently participated in the recommendations for the redelineation of elections by submitting proposals for new Parliamentary and DUN constituencies in Sabah.
“I have seen the Upko party’s documentation and recommendations to the Election Commission (EC) before and among those proposed by the party is a new state constituency in the Sipitang Parliament called the Long Pasia state constituency.
