PRIME MINISTER Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has confirmed that his health is in good order after recently experiencing back pain that forced him to cancel a scheduled official visit.
"I am good, look at me,” he said succinctly, leaping to demonstrate his recovery.
Anwar made the remarks following the launch of the Malaysia Semiconductor IC Design Park 2 today, an event also attended by Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari and Deputy Minister of Housing and Local Government Datuk Aiman Athirah Sabu.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the last-minute cancellation came on medical advice after the discomfort restricted his mobility.
He also extended his apologies to the people of Pahang, who had prepared to welcome him. Anwar had been scheduled to officiate the closing of the Hari Penjaja dan Peniaga Kecil 2025 Carnival in Temerloh before attending the Temu Anwar@UMPSA programme at Dewan Utama, Kompleks Sukan Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Gambang campus.
