PAPAR: A 27-year-old lorry driver escaped unscathed after a lorry laden with construction materials crashed along KM6 Jalan Lama Papar–Kota Kinabalu, here, Tuesday.
District Police Chief DSP Kamaruddin Ambo Sakka said the incident occurred at about 3.30am while the driver was heading towards Labuan from Kota Kinabalu lost control of his vehicle.
“The lorry crashed on the right side of the road before flipping on its side and damaging the vehicle. However, the driver sustained no injuries,” he said.
He added that the case is being investigated under Rule 10 LN166/59.
