Lost father and sons found clinging to half-sunken jetski after 16 hours at sea

A French father and his two sons were rescued after being stranded at sea for 16 hours when their jetski capsized.

Footage shows the sons clinging to the partially-sunken jetski, as the father called out to rescuers for help.

Brahim Terki, 50, had rented the jetski for a 45-minute ride on Koh Samui, Thailand, at around 5pm local time on Thursday (13 August). He explained that the engine had failed after being hit by large waves.

After the family failed to return, rescuers were alerted, and a search involving speedboats and additional jetskis began. The trio were located the following day and reunited with their mother and sister, who had been waiting on the shore for them.
