• Ellie Chadwick has quit the Love Island villa just days before the final, according to a report in The Sun.
• The 24-year-old has previously threatened to leave the show a number of times over her partner Finley Maddock’s connection with fellow contestant Elicia Bailey.
• However, Tuesday night's episode showed Ellie and Fin reuniting at a recoupling and cuddling up in bed together.
• A source told The Sun that that episode was filmed days ago, and viewers would see the “dramatic action” leading up to Ellie’s departure play out in an episode soon.
• Ellie and Fin were among the favourites to win Love Island, behind Lorenzo Alessi and Julia Majchrzak and Kavan Murphy and Jasmine Muller.
