The Denver Nuggets are facing a situation they have not encountered since the 2021-22 season, with their first-round playoff hopes now hanging by a thread.

After dropping the last two games against the Minnesota Timberwolves, they trail the series 3-1 and are now one defeat away from an early exit.

That position has not only raised questions about their on-court response but has also reflected in the mood of their fanbase ahead of a decisive Game 5.

Signs of fading belief among supporters have emerged through ticket sales data ahead of Monday’s clash at Ball Arena.

According to Legion Hoops on X, tickets have been available for as little as $52, a figure that stands well below the typical price for a playoff game.

Such a drop suggests demand has softened significantly, with fans seemingly less convinced that Denver can extend the series.

That sentiment is notable given the circumstances surrounding the opposition, as Minnesota enter the game with key absences that could alter the balance.

Donte DiVincenzo is ruled out for the remainder of the season, while Anthony Edwards is also expected to miss time, removing two major contributors from the Timberwolves rotation.

This hesitation also contrasts with the franchise’s own recent history, as the Nuggets remain the last team to complete a 3-1 comeback, doing it twice in 2020.

On the other hand, it reflects the team’s struggles, highlighted by Rudy Gobert making life tough for Nikola Jokic on the court.
