KENINGAU: Denddy Lowa’s solitary goal helped MDK FC emerge as champions in the Keningau Premier League Datuk Robert Tawik Cup tournament which took place at the Sports Complex here on Saturday night.
In the final match, MDK FC managed to beat Sundamai FC with a score of 1-0 thanks to Dendy’s goal from Frankey Ayoh’s pass in the 18th minute of the first half.
Although both teams had several chances to score goals in the second half, the players of both teams failed to capitalise on the finishing.
Two yellow cards were given by Referee Victor Joannes to MDK FC’s Denddy, and Sundamai FC’s Jainus Risik in the second half.
