One, two, strike a pose! At the LSA100 Year End Party, the newly launched BYD SEALION 7 was the centre of attention — where guests got to experience the car first-hand and put on their best looks for the Glambot.
Just last Wednesday, Lifestyle Asia KL hosted the LSA100 Year End Party, the third of its kind, celebrating the Class of 2024. ‘Twas a star-studded event all around… and so, what could have made it better than having the sleek and stylish BYD SEALION 7 as the centrepiece of the party? At the exclusive ballroom of M Resort & Hotel Kuala Lumpur, BYD Sime Motors pulled out all the stops (pun intended!) with its curated booth. The BYD SEALION 7 in Aurora White — flanked by cameras on either side — attracted much attention throughout the night, with guests taking turns to either pose with it or step right in to get the overall feel of driving it.
To add to the whole experience, the booth also had its very own Glambot (the first of its kind at a LSA100 Year End Party!). It was quite the dynamic sight watching the guests put on their best poses for the Glambot, whether they’re standing snazzy next to the BYD SEALION 7 or draped across the car’s chic exterior.
If you’re not yet familiar, the BYD SEALION 7 is the brand’s latest fully electric performance SUV that combines both ‘futuristic’ and ‘sporty’. The vehicle comes packed with various features such as the 12-speaker DYNAUDIO system that makes your tunes sound crystal clear and the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature that transforms the car into your handy dandy camping gear or makeshift outdoor cinema.
On top of that, BYD Sime Motors also presented the biggest award of the night: the LSA100 Icon of the Year. As the 2023 LSA 100 Icon of the Year, alumni Amelia Henderson went up on stage to speak about what the award had meant to her, and how her year has been for her since she was first crowned at the party last year. Then together with Martin Teo, Editor-in-Chief of Lifestyle Asia, they crowned the legendary Jaclyn Victor as the 2024 LSA100 Icon of the Year. Celebrating her 20th anniversary in the music industry, she truly made an epic comeback with her recent solo concert — the first she has ever held in her entire career.
