Tottenham Hotspur star Lucas Moura wants to leave the club on a free transfer.

The Brazilian attacker is no longer first choice at the London Stadium club under Antonio Conte.

While he wants regular football, Moura is not desperate to leave at present either.

The 30-year-old, per Football Insider, will wait to the end of the season when his contract expires.

He will then move on a free transfer, as he wants to maximize the salary he earns from his next deal, as that may be the last one of his career.

Moura was linked to Aston Villa and Newcastle United on deadline day, but did not move.

There is an option for Spurs to extend his deal by a year, which could change his circumstances.
