Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Neeru Katyal Gupta on Thursday held a meeting with unit owners from Haibowal Dairy Complex and officials at MC Zone D office.
During the meeting, she urged the dairy owners to install flow meters and ensure lifting of cow dung from the dairy complex. She also stressed on proper functioning of effluent treatment plant (ETP).
Gupta said they were monitoring the situation at the ground level and every effort was being made to ensure proper lifting of garbage and proper functioning of ETP.
The MC chief said strict directions were issued to the contractor to ensure regular lifting of cow dung from the dairy complex. Senior authorities have been directed to continuously monitor the situation at the ground level, she added.
