The Ludhiana police have registered a case against Gurvinder Singh, alias Prinkal, a shoe businessman, for creating morphed pictures of his seven-year-old niece and the wife of another man with whom he shared an old enmity.
Complainant Sukhwinder Pal Singh said his sister and accused Gurwinder Singh were married in 2024. The accused kept posting videos of his wife on social media and following a dispute between him and Honey Sethi, he made lewd comments about Sethi’s wife on social media. After the incident, the accused’s wife was really angry returned to her parental home.
“In July 2024, the accused called me and said he had edited photos of my daughter, who was then a 7-year-old and photos of Honey Sethi’s wife to make obscene morphed pictures of both of them. He threatened to make them viral on social media. We lodged a complaint and the police registered a case against the accused yesterday,” said the complainant. Investigating Officer Bhupinder Singh said an investigation into the matter was underway.
