BEAUFORT: Lumadan Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Division Chief Datuk Ruslan Muharam is confident the Lumadan seat will be again contested by PBS in the coming 17th State Election (17th GE).

Ruslan, who is also Lumadan Assemblyman said this decision was based on an agreement reached between the PBS leadership and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor.

Advertisement“PBS Acting President Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam and our Chief Minister, Hajiji, have already agreed that the component parties of GRS will retain their existing seats,” Ruslan said.

“We won it in the last election, and I am committed to ensuring it is defended in 17th GE,” he said, Ruslan said this during the “Walkabout” in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations in Beaufort.
