Recently, Seasia Stats revealed a ranking list of countries based on the number of Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI) worldwide in 2024, and surprisingly, our country has managed to secure a place in the Top 30.

Malaysia has secured the 29th position with a substantial UHNWI population of 754.

In the ranking list provided by Seasia Stats, only five Southeast Asian countries managed to secure spots in the Top 30.

Singapore leads the region, sitting comfortably at 17th with an impressive count of 4,783 UHNWI, followed by Indonesia at 24th with 1,479 UHNWI, Thailand at 26th with 889 UHNWI, and Vietnam securing the 30th position with 752 UHNWI.

United States claims the crown

However, leading the global rankings is the United States, boasting a remarkable 225,077 UHNWI, followed by China in the second position with 98,551, and Germany securing third place with 29,021 UHNWI.

According to Seasia Stats, the rankings are based on the Knight Frank Wealth Report 2024.
