Recently, Malaysia has been consistently securing spots in the international rankings. And we have to admit, we’ve never been more proud of our country!
Once again, Malaysia has secured a spot in the Top 30 for Ultra Wealthy Individuals worldwide. According to Seasia Stats, Malaysia has secured the 29th position with a substantial UHNWI population of 754.
Malaysia claimed the 29th position
Among the Southeast Asian nations listed, only five made it into the Top 30, with Singapore leading the region by securing the 17th spot with an impressive count of 4,783 UHNWI.
Indonesia follows at 24th with 1,479 UHNWI, Thailand at 26th with 889 UHNWI, and Vietnam securing the 30th position with 752 UHNWI.
America takes the lead in the top spot!
Taking the lead in the global rankings is the United States, with an impressive count of 225,077 UHNWI. China follows closely in the second position with 98,551, and Germany secures third place with 29,021 UHNWI.
According to the rankings from the Knight Frank Wealth Report 2024, Singapore is doing well in drawing emerging wealth from Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Meanwhile, Hong Kong remains the primary hub for wealth generated in mainland China.

We’re not entirely surprised by the news; after all, Malaysia is known for many things. But who would have thought that being “ultra-wealthy” is one of them? Nevertheless, we’re thrilled to have made it into the top 30!
