M’sia records 2,417 cases, five deaths in the last 24 hours

Five deaths due to Covid-19 were reported with 2 classified as being brought in dead, bringing the total to 35,816.

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia recorded 2,417 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in to 4,598,391 cases since the pandemic began, according to data published by health ministry.

Five deaths due to Covid-19 were reported with 2 classified as being brought in dead, bringing the total to 35,816.

Currently, there are 35,758 active Covid-19 infections in the country, with 96.6 per cent of patients, or 34,526 individuals being quarantined at home.

The ministry also recorded 2,536 recoveries yesterday.
