The Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) came to the rescue of a Malaysian woman recently after she was locked out of her own home despite her husband and three children being inside.
This is because her husband and three boys were so soundly asleep inside the home that despite trying everything to wake them up, they remained snoozing in bed.
A woman got locked out of her home while her husband and kids slept soundly inside
The woman, @amiraroseli_, shared a video of the unforgettable experience on her TikTok account. The post has since gone viral on the social media platform, garnering over 628,000 views as of the time of writing.
At the start of the video, a JBPM firetruck can be seen entering her neighbourhood before stopping in front of her home.
At least four JBPM personnel were dispatched to help @amiraroseli_ with her unique predicament, as all of them can be seen on her house’s porch looking for ways to open the locked doors and grills.
In the caption, she revealed that the abang-abang bomba ended up cutting the iron padlock so that she could enter her home.
The video then hilariously cut to photos of @amiraroseli_‘s husband and three kids being soundly asleep throughout the whole ordeal, oblivious to what had transpired.

The husband was too tired and fell asleep after putting the kids to bed
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, @amiraroseli_ said that her husband was tired as he was awake from before dawn for sahur (the meal eaten by Muslims before the start of the fasting day), until evening. Hence, when he put their three kids to bed, her husband ended up falling asleep too.
@amiraroseli_ added that before he fell asleep, her husband texted her asking whether she had finished working as he would be waiting to open the door for her.
She further elaborated,
“We both have a set of keys each for our home but on that day, my husband stopped by my office in the afternoon to swap cars as he was picking up the kids. My set of housekeys was accidentally left inside the car my husband brought home.”
