Retiring from his position, Manohar A/L Rengasamy, affectionately known as Uncle Mano to the students and teachers in SK (2) Convent Bukit Nanas, a retirement ceremony has been held in the school!

Watching the video for ourselves, Uncle Mano was escorted by students and teachers into the hall, before being ushered up on stage for his retirement ceremony. He was given a flower necklace, before being seated on stage. Receiving gifts from students and teachers, Uncle Mano was seen smiling and greeting everyone.

After the ceremony, he was brought for a short bike ride, where he paraded around the school with some of the teachers. Looking at the footages, it was definitely clear that Uncle Mano enjoyed the short parade. Speaking to Wau Post, the teacher who posted the video revealed that ceremony had coincided with his birthday.

“We decided to also celebrate his birthday at the canteen”, said the teacher.

And true enough the whole ceremony has shown how well the teachers and students appreciate Uncle Mano’s contribution towards the school. Following the video, many netizens have commented and here’s what some of them said:
