A woman who was just about to start another normal day at work had a shock of her life after she stumbled upon her son lying motionless inside his car on Saturday (Dec 6).
According to China Press and FMT, the incident took place at a house in Danau Kota, Setapak.
No foul play detected
In a statement by Wangsa Maju police chief Lazim Ismail, he said the woman was passing by the house while making her way to work when she stumbled upon her son’s body inside the car.
She then filed a police report at 7.52am.
Social media went abuzz with the news when a clip showing police officers removing the body from the car and checking the victim’s personal belongings was shared widely.
Lazim said police found no injuries on the victim’s body and no signs of foul play at work in the incident. The case has since been ruled as sudden death (SDR).
He added police are currently waiting for the post-mortem results to determine the cause of death.
