A simple iftar on the steps

In a video reshared from a TikTok user, the officers can be seen having a meal while sitting on the steps of a public space.

PDRM also acknowledged the officers’ dedication to their duties, noting how they humbly enjoyed their iftar meals with colleagues.

“While the public was busy enjoying their iftar at home with family, officers from the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department stayed committed to their work in the field, ensuring traffic flowed smoothly and safely.

“Despite the scorching sun and a long day on duty, they continued to serve diligently, even while away from their loved ones. Colleagues became loyal companions, sharing simple meals to keep them going until the Maghrib call to prayer,” they wrote.

They also highlighted that even though they broke their fast simply by the roadside, they still made sure the roads were safe and travel remained smooth for all Malaysians.

“Even while breaking their fast by the roadside, their discipline and commitment never wavered, keeping road users safe and ensuring travel stayed orderly,” they wrote.
