A motorcyclist’s random act of kindness for his fellow Malaysian caught the attention of netizens recently, with many praising the man’s empathy and kindness.
The wholesome interaction was captured on a dashcam video at an intersection in Kuantan, Pahang recently, which was shared by TikTok user @syahmiyem and has since garnered over 84,000 views and more than 9,700 likes.
In the video, two motorcyclists can be seen at the front of the intersection and holding a conversation while the traffic light was red.
The motorcyclist on the right is a p-hailing rider who brought his small child with him while working for unknown reasons.
After a brief conversation, the motorcyclist on the left suddenly went into his pocket as if looking for something.
As it turned out, the man brought out some cash from the pocket and gave it to the small child as a gift. Afterwards, without saying anything, the motorcyclist turned left at the intersection and continued with his journey.
The caption of the video asserted,
“Kuantan people are the best. Maybe this is one of God’s way to remind me to give more alms.”

In the video’s comments section, many netizens praised the man’s random act of kindness and hope that he will get good karma for his generosity.
One commenter said that such an act of giving alms to a small child is a tradition practiced by the older generation with sincere intentions to help a fellow human being.
Besides that, one commenter said that maybe the man who gave the gift is a father himself and understood the struggles of a father to provide for his children.
