A recent post has gone viral after a security guard went above and beyond to help keep a child safe, winning the hearts of many Malaysians.
Taking to Threads, Nina (@nina_niniainaa) thanked the security guard for looking after her child, Aariz, who was sleeping in the car.
Guard takes extra steps to ensure public safety
Nina recalled how she was at a clinic in Tapah, Perak, to bring her mum to get her wound cleaned when Aariz fell asleep in the car.
Since she needed to step away briefly to use the bathroom, Nina asked a security guard to keep an eye on her son while she was away.
“While I was bringing my mum to get her wound cleaned, Aariz fell asleep in the car. I needed to use the toilet for a moment, so I asked the security guard to keep an eye on my son.”
To her surprise, Nina was touched to see that the security guard had actually stood in front of her car until she returned, which was also captured on her car’s dashcam.
“I thought he would simply keep an eye on him from a distance, but he actually stood in front of the car until I came back. Thank you to the security guard at Hospital Jalan Damai / Jalan Damai Health Clinic in Tapah for your care, kindness, and concern,” she wrote.
