MANILA, Philippines — Filipina drag artist M1ss Jade So is one step away from making history after advancing to the Top 4 grand finale of the inaugural Drag Race Down Under vs the World.
The “Goddessa” has established herself as one of the season’s strongest contenders, earning three challenge wins throughout the competition and becoming the second Filipina to reach an international “Vs. the World” finale, following Marina Summers.
M1ss Jade So secured her place in the finale after the “Beach Buddies Makeover” challenge, which aired on Sept. 4, 2026 and determined the final four queens competing for the crown, scepter and AUD $50,000 grand prize.
Joining M1ss Jade So in the finale are Michael Marouli of the United Kingdom and Australian queens Art Simone and Vybe.
Marouli, the runner-up of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 5, has also recorded three challenge wins. Meanwhile, Art Simone and Marouli currently lead the standings with four badges each, after both triumphed in the crucial Episode 7 makeover challenge.
The two frontrunners subsequently faced off in the episode’s final lip sync to the Spice Girls’ “Who Do You Think You Are?” before securing their spots in the final four.
But M1ss Jade So remains a major threat to the competition’s leaders. Her three challenge victories include a standout design challenge performance, while her memorable moments throughout the season—including helping save Vybe from elimination—have further cemented her as one of the season’s most talked-about queens.
With the crown now within reach, M1ss Jade So will have one final chance to turn her impressive comeback into a historic victory and become the inaugural champion of Drag Race Down Under vs the World.
The grand finale is set to stream on WOW Presents Plus on Sept. 11, 2026.
