- National Highways has warned drivers of delays on the M27 in Hampshire “due to a serious collision involving a motorcycle”.
- According to a National Highways update on X, the motorway remains shut eastbound between J9 (Whiteley) and J12 (Portsmouth).
- It adds: “Lane 3 (of 3) released westbound. Delays in excess of 20 minutes on the approach.”
- National Highways has advised drivers to “allow extra journey time” or to “re-route or even delay your journey”.
- Those heading eastbound have been told “to follow the Hollow Circle diversion symbol on road signs”.
