New Arsenal technical director Edu is driving their move for Gremio striker Everton Soares.
Globo Esporte says Arsenal's new technical director Edu has held talks with Everton's agent Gilmar Veloz to assess whether a move to the Emirates is feasible this summer.
Interestingly, Edu joined Arsenal after leaving his role as general coordinator of the Brazilian national team.
There is believed to be interest from Italy and Spain for the Brazilian winger but Arsenal are keen to secure a winger this summer, giving them the edge.
The 23-year-old's current deal at Gremio lasts until December 2022 and includes a 90million release clause.
