Released Chelsea midfielder Kyle Scott is set to sign with Newcastle United.
The Sun says Scott looks set to join Newcastle for free on a two-year deal.
Scott, 21, has been out of contract since being let go by Chelsea last month and joins the Toon on a freebie.
The central midfielder is said to have agreed to personal terms and completed his medical ahead of his impending move.
Scott, who can play in either an attacking or defensive midfield role, becomes Newcastle's second summer signing.
New boss Steve Bruce has already overseen the 40m club-record of former Hoffenheim striker Joelinton.
