KUALA LUMPUR - The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) may seek Interpol's assistance to locate Adlan Berhan, the son-in-law of former prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
He said said to be currently residing abroad.
"We have reason to believe he is in a specific country, but we cannot reveal the exact country at this time," MACC chief Tan Sri Azam Baki was quoted in FMT.
He said they are working closely with the police and immigration department to initiate the suspension of his passport.
On Monday, MACC announced that it was locating Adlan and lawyer Mansoor Saat, as part of an investigation into a project linked to the registration, recruitment, and storage of biometric data for foreign workers at a ministry.
Both Adlan and Mansoor are said to have left the country in May.
