French President Emmanuel Macron walked through busy Manhattan streets on Monday evening as he headed to Trump Tower for a meeting with US President Donald Trump.
Accompanied by security and aides, Macron crossed the city on foot, passing police officers and greeting one with a handshake.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot was among his delegation. Macron and Trump met to discuss issues including Ukraine ahead of the UN General Assembly in New York.
